Newark Liberty International Airport is one of New Jersey’s main international airports and despite being located in New Jersey, EWR is actually associated more with New York City. EWR was actually originally called Newark Metropolitan Airport, EWR is also located between Essex County, and Elizabeth in Union County, New Jersey. EWR is also operated by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and is one of the three major airports operated by New York. Newark Liberty Airport was opened on October 1st, 1928 and was the first major airport that served passengers in the New York area. EWR was actually renamed because of the hijacking and crashing of United Airlines Flight 93 in the September 11 attacks. The new name, Newark Liberty International Airport, was chosen to honor the lives lost during the September 11 tragedy and to pay tribute to the Statue of Liberty landmark. While EWR has a great many deal of gates, 121 gates in total to be exact, it does not have that many terminal. EWR only has 3 terminals in total and instead of being numbered they are alphabetized from A to C.
Terminal A was completed in 1973 and has four different levels, Terminal A is operated by the EWR Terminal One LLC and is a part of the Flughafen Munchen GmbH. Terminal A is specifically managed for domestic flights and Canadian flights served by JetBlue, sometimes even flights to the Caribbean. Terminal A also handles some United Express flights, however these are only Ultra-short haul flights. Terminal A has no immigration facilities and is a very fast paced terminal, people know where they are going. most people have a preferred car service to EWR and some may even have a limo service to EWR.
Terminal B was also completed in 1973 and has four separate levels , it is also the only passenger terminal operated directly by Port Authority. Terminal B is the opposite of Terminal A, made exclusively to handle foreign carriers along with Caribbean, Jetblue, and United’s international arrivals. In 2008 went through a renovation in order to increase the capacity of departing passengers and their comfort. The renovations also allowed for a bigger ticketing area and even built a new departure level for more space and speedier transactions. With terminal B being exclusively for international flights sometimes getting a car service from EWR to NYC can be a very important task. Most foreign travelers would rather make it easy on themselves and order a car service with meet and greet, however when making a decision like that it’s important to make sure you choose a good limo service in NYC. So when booking a good car service to EWR make sure to choose the best black car service to EWR.
Terminal C was completed in 1988 and was designed by Grad Associates, its also exclusively operated by two separate carriers, United Airlines and United Express. Terminal C has had many renovations and expansions most of which have occurred between the years 1998 to 2003. Other renovations and expansions where made to EWR in 2014 when OTG announced a new $120 million dollar renovations plan. Terminal C has over 40 gates and has its own underground parking, this can make navigating terminal C a nightmare. However, the best car service in NYC can make it past traffic without an issue and if you want a limo service with meet and greet, they can find the best parking possible to make your ride faster. Terminal C not only has 41 gates but also hosts a number of food and shopping outlets which can make quick pickups take a long time. Luckily car services from NYC to EWR try to make transitions as smooth as possible, some NYC car services will park right in front of the exit to make sure you get to your car as soon as possible.
Newark Liberty International Airport has numerous ground transportation available to its customers. EWR can be reached via bus, NJT buses are northbound local and provide service which has stops in Irvington, Downtown Newark, and Newark Penn Station. Connections are then available to PATH and NJ Transit rail lines. Another way to reach EWR is by driving there, and there are a numerous amount of good car services in NYC. New York also has many more options to choose from, Private Limousine Company, Black car service, you name it and NYC has got it. Overall Newark Liberty International Airport is one of the 3 main airports surrounding NYC and while it may not be the busiest airport in NYC anymore, it still holds great importance to the City.
JFK has half a dozen terminals and contains over 130 gates. The terminals are set up in almost a U shape though it still remains with a wavy pattern around the central area that contains the airports parking. Normally finding parking in JFK can be a problem, however the best car service can always find a good parking spot for their clients. Before the 1990’s every single terminal at JFK was known for the primary airlines that they served. the one exception of this was terminal 4 which was known as the International Arrivals Buildings.
Terminal 1 was opened in 1998 and had been here for 50 years after the opening of JFK. Terminal 1 is known for operating with many carriers and the primary four being: Air France, Japan Airlines, Korean Air and Lufthansa. Terminal 1 also operates with carriers: Aeroflot, Alitalia, China Eastern Airlines, Air China, Turkish Airlines, Austrian Airlines and many more. When looking for a car service to JFK or a limo service to JFK you sometimes have to take into account terminal traffic. Having a good car service to JFK is something that needs to be taken into account when planning a trip. This is why it’s good to choose the best car service to JFK, My Destiny Limo is the best limo service in NYC and guarantees that they will get you to your destination, hassle free! so when making a trip outside the country be sure to choose a best car service in NYC.
Terminal 2 was opened in 1962 and is the home to Northeast Airlines, Braniff and, Northwest they are also now almost exclusively used and operated by Delta Airlines. Terminal 2 is actually being used less and less because of the opening of terminal 4 which is now beginning to use and operate Delta Airline Services. Under normal circumstances getting in and out of terminal 2 is difficult because of the constant traffic trying to get to the other gates. However, the best car service in NYC can get by this extremely quickly and will make sure you get to your destination on time. The best airport black car near by will make sure to give you a great experience along the way.
Terminal 4 was developed by LCOR Inc. and is managed by the JFK International Air Terminal. Terminal 4 includes different operators such as SkyTeam, Star Alliance ,and even non alliance carriers such as Air Serbia, Caribbean Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Eastern Airlines, EI AI, Emirates, Etihad Airways, Hainan Airlines, Jet Blue, Kuwait Airway, LATAM Brasil, LATAM Chile, Uzbekistan Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Volaris, and WestJet. Terminal 4 was opened in 2001 and was designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill. Terminal 4 was built during the construction of the AirTrain and the AirTrain station was actually built inside the Terminal. This can prove to be tricky to navigate at times and if you are waiting for a car service in JFK it can be difficult to find your driver to take a car service home. However the best car service in Manhattan would have no issue with finding you, a limo service with meet and greet is a must have and most transportation companies have all of that and more to be considered the best transport to NYC airport.
Terminal 7 was opened in 1970 and was designed by GMW Architects, terminal 7 was originally built for BOAC and Air Canada. Terminal 7 is currently operated by British Airways and is the only terminal operated by a foreign carrier while still being on U.S soil. Terminal 7 also includes carriers such as Oneworld, Star Alliance, Sky Team, and non-alliance carriers. From 1989 to 1991 the terminal was renovated and expanded to have 12 gates, this expansion was designed by William Nicholas Bodouva and some of his associates, and architects. British Airlines also plans to further expand and renovate the terminal to accommodate more airplane types. The majority of incoming visitors from terminal 7 are foreign meaning that most of the time they don’t have a U.S number that they can just use. This can prove to be a problem if a visitor is being picked up from the airport and can’t contact their ride this is why it is important to have a car service with meet and greet available. When picking a good black car service in NYC make sure to choose the best limousine companies, they provide an excellent meet and greet limo service.
Terminal 8 is one of the major Oneworld hubs with American Airlines operating directly from this terminal. American Airlines begin an eight year program in this terminal with the goal of having terminal 8 becoming one of the largest passenger terminals in JFK. Terminal 8 was designed by DMJM Aviation and in a way is a combination of both terminal 8 and terminal 9 and was opened in stages, the first stage being in 2005 and was officially opened in 2007. The terminal itself is actually two times bigger than Madison Square Garden and has multiple retail and food outlets, over 80 different ticket counters, more than 40 self-service kiosks, 10 security checkpoints, 29 gates, and processes over 1,600 people through its U.S. Customs and Border Protection facility. Terminal 8 is where JFK traffic really comes into play, with so many people coming in and out of terminal 8 a NYC limo service must be ready to navigate the terminal perfectly. Luckily if you choose the right car service to be your NYC car service you never have to worry about arriving on time.
Having 3 different locations and over 6 million visitors The Metropolitan Museum of Art, “The Met“, is the largest art museum in the United States. The Met’s collection holds over two million different art works and is divided among 17 curatorial departments. The primary location of the museum is at the edge of the Upper East Side at 1000 fifth avenue, its second location at Fort Tryin Park in Upper Manhattan, the third location is a much more recent addition located alongside Madison Avenue, also on the Upper East Side. The Metropolitan Museum’s largest art gallery is at its primary location, the secondary location contains a collection of art, architecture, and artifacts from medieval Europe. Finally its tertiary location expanded upon the museumsmodern and contemporary art.
The metropolitan Museum of art came into being on February 20th, 1872 and was established in order to encourage and develop the study of fine arts and to help people understand the value of modern art. In the beginning the museum was housed in a building that was located in 681 Fifth Avenue. The First president of the Metropolitan Museum was a man named John Taylor Johnston, he previously was a railroad executive who used his own personal art collection as the first collection presented by the museum. He was helped by two other people, Publisher George Palmer Putman who became the founding superintendent, and Artist Eastman Johnson who acted as the co founder of the museum. there where also many other co founders of the museum such as Howard Potter who was a formally Civil War officer, and various other industrialists. Luigi Palma di Cesnola was the first director of the museum and served from 1879 to 1904. During this time the Met’s collection had grown rapidly, at first the museum had contained Roman works and over 150 artist works that where primarily European paintings. Along with this the museum created a new program and helped with running a series of educational programs, with the intention of providing vocational training and classes for fine arts the Metropolitan Museum of Art Schools was opened up. After a few years the museum had expanded and had added a concert hall named the Grace Rainey Rogers concert hall and was opened in 1954. This concert hall had eventually had over 200 events each season with multiple performers playing there. the concert hall was directed by William Kolodney from 1954 to 1968 and then by Hilde Limondjian from 1969 to 2010.
in the 1960’s the Metropolitan Museum was expanded in order to include a chairman of the board of trustees. This was led by Robert Lehman who had helped the museum gain more art works since 1911 and for the next six decades helped add to the art collection of The Met. Lehman died in 1969 and his foundation then proceeded to donate over 3,000 works to the museum. This directly led to the museum opening a sperate wing, appropriately named, the Robert Lehman Wing which was opened to the public in 1975. This collection was then called ” one of the most extraordinary private art collections ever assembled in the United States”.
Overall the metropolitan museum of art has many different exhibits for any visitor and so many activities for different ages. From the famous Met steps to the inside concerts and the Metropolitan concert hall there something for anyone. My Destiny Limo will take you there today!
One of the most recognizable building designs in NYC, the cultural museum has stood the test of time through its unique architecture and stunning art collection. The art museum itself is located on 1071 fifth avenue in the Upper East Side of Manhattan. It is home to continuously expanding collection of impressionist, post-impressionist, early modern art, and contemporary art. The museum would also normally hold exhibitions throughout the year (however due to Covid-19 these may have been subject to change). The museum holds exquisite pieces of art while also being visually stunning itself.
The history of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum is actually quite an interesting one. The original founder of the museum, Guggenheim himself, was originally a member of a very wealthy mining family. Guggenheim had been collecting old works of art since the 1890’s and had met with artist Hilla von Rebay in 1926. Hilla von Rebay was a European avant-garde artist who had an affiliation towards abstract art that represented both a utopian and spiritual aspect. In the beginning Guggenheim did not have an official “museum” to display his art collection, instead he began to display it at his own apartment in the Plaza Hotel. sd. Soon enough Guggenheim’s collection had become large enough for him to establish the Solomon R. Guggenheim foundation which focused on the appreciation of modern art and all its varieties. The foundation then opened up in 1939 under the name “the Museum of Non-objective Painting” which was led by both Guggenheim and Hilla von Rebay. By the early 1940’s the foundation began to collect so many art pieces that it had become clear that the museum needed a permanent building. this led to Guggenheim and Rebay writing a letter to Frank Lloyd Wright and had asked him to design a building that would house the art they had collected throughout the years. Frank Lloyd Wright accepted the job and took it as an opportunity to experiment with his organic style in an urban environment. it took Wright 15 years to design the final building, during this time he had gone through 700 sketches and six sets of working drawings but at last he was able to come up with the final design for the museum. In 1948 Guggenheim’s collection had expanded by purchasing the estate of art dealer Karl Nierendorf who has about 730 pieces. Then in 1949 Guggenheim had died, this led to Hilla von Rebay resigning as the director due to the differentiating philosophies she had with the board of directors of the foundation, who all happened to be members of Guggenheim’s family. Despite this, Rebay had left behind many pieces of her own personal collection which included pieces from Albert Gleizes, Alexander Calder, and many more. Eventually in 1952 the Museum was renamed The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum.
Frank Lloyd Wright was one of the first to create an art building in NYC that did not follow the traditional style of buildings back then, he had instead made something expressive, and personal. The concept of the building was rather interesting, back then most buildings followed a simple scheme of interconnected rooms that would be reached through stair cases and where a person would be forced to retrace their steps in order to exit the building. Instead The Guggenheim Museum was more of a slope, one where upon entering the building you would go up an elevator and then descend via the slope slowly admiring the different pieces of art presented to you. In addition in the center of the slope, in the Atrium, would be the final art piece for visitors to view. The location of the building was carefully chosen as well, the first couple of locations thought of where the Bronx, and even Riverdale. Eventually Wright, Rebay, and Guggenheim had settled n 89th st and 5th avenue, overlooking Central Park. This actually helped with cancelling noise pollution and provided the museum with relief from the urban environment that is NYC. It was not the only thing it helped with however, this also made it easier for transportation to reach the museum itself. Black Car vehicle transportations can find a quick easy route to the Guggenheim and companies such as My Destiny Limo will have zero issues getting to the museum because of its placement and layout. On top of this if you don’t live in New York City then you have nothing to worry about, even if you’re coming in from Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington D.C. or Connecticut you can trust that My Destiny Limo can get you there comfortably for your visit. Despite how long Wright had worked on the design of the building not all of his original plans had actually gone through. For example Wright had originally wanted a stone finish for the building but eventually it was turned down for a concrete design in order to cut costs. Wright had also incorporated a large rotunda into his design in which Rebay and Guggenheim could have lived in, however this was eventually used as office space and storage. Overall despite not being Frank Lloyd Wright’s final design it still turned into an engineering marvel and became one of the most recognizable buildings in New York City.
In 1961 Sweeney was succeeded as the director of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum by Thomas M. Messer. Messer proceeded to be the director of the Museum for nearly 27 years, the longest of any major art institutions. in 1962 Messer decided to put on a large exhibit with a combination of the Guggenheim’s paintings with sculptures. However, presenting three dimensional sculptures had was seen as a problem to the museum nature of having a downwards spiral. The exhibit was actually a great success, though despite that, Messer recalls being scared and having a haunting feeling that this exhibit would be his last. Then, in 1963, Messer had struck a deal with Justin K Thannhauser, who provided 73 private pieces for the museums permanent collection. These art pieces included Impressionist, Post-Impressionists, and French modern masterpieces, it also included works from artists such as Camille Pissarro, Vincent van Gogh, and even Pablo Picasso. After Sweeney came a few other new directors of the museum, such as Thomas M. Messer, and Thomas Krens who helped create new paths for expansions of the museums. Some of these expansions include a new theater (Peter B. Lewis Theater), a student sketching center at the entrance of the Sackler Center, and restoration of the exterior.
Welcome to one of the largest museums in the world! located at the Upper west Side of Manhattan and covering about 2 million square feet in total, The Museum of Natural History is the most well known museum in the entire world. the museum is made up of 26 interconnected buildings, has about 45 exhibitions and contains both a library and planetarium to boot. The building was officially completed at the end of the 19th century and the buildings surrounding it where completed in the early 20th century. The Museum had later on received many more renovations and expansions, most of which were actually internal rather than external. Some of these renovations include one for the dinosaur hall, a restored mural in the Roosevelt Memorial Hall, and additional entrances. Many different buildings where constructed around it, all of which interconnect, and allowed for multiple entrances, however the original entrance on 77th street still stands. The museum is a combination of multiple buildings and in 2016 a plan was put into motion to further expand it, this expansion was delayed until 2019 due to community opposition, the project is now set to be complete in 2022 (However due to covid-19 it is not known if this date is still official).
The Museum has many exhibits for visitors to look through, so many in fact that you may need multiple days in order to look at them all. one of the biggest modern art museums in America and the biggest in New York City. The Museum of Modern Art is also one of the biggest influences in the world for many reasons. For starters, MoMA has a major role when it comes to collecting and developing modern art in the world. Some of MoMA’s collections include contemporary art, architecture, photography, illustrations, and electronic media.
The Museum of Modern Art was made in 1929 mainly by Abby Aldrich Rockefeller, Lillie P. Bliss, and Mary Quinn Sullivan. The museum was actually quite modest at first and was located in the Heckscher building at 730 fifth avenue. MoMA opened on November 7th , 1929 and had made A. Conger Goodyear the president of the museum. at first the museum was made up of almost exclusively modern art and was the first to show European modernism in Manhattan. During the 1930’s the museum began to gain international fame after its very successful Picasso retrospective. Then in the 1940’s MoMA brought in an exhibition called “Indian Art of the United States” which brought to light what Native American arts was like before the Colonies. On April 15th in 1958 a fire had started due to some construction. When a worker was installing an air conditioner he had been smoking around sawdust and paint cans which started the fire. During the 60s to 80s the Museum of Modern Art had actually come to face some controversy. MoMA had taken down antiwar posters and photojournalism that was opposing the Vietnam War. In 1983 the museum had more then doubled its gallery and added an auditorium, a bookstore, and even a pair of restaurants. Then in 1997 it had expanded even further, now adding teacher training workshops and a few spaces for classrooms, even expanding the library and its archives. Despite all of the controversy and even destruction, through all of its renovating and expansion, the Museum of Modern Art still stands today.
The Museum of Modern Art holds many exhibitions throughout the years. MoMA’s collections include more than 150,000 singular pieces of art and over 20,000 films. MoMA holds various pieces from many different influential European and American artists. Such artists include, Pablo Picasso, Georges Braque, Joan Miro, Mark Rothko, Andy Warhol, and many more. MoMA also holds one of the most important film collection throughout the United States. This collection includes over 25,000 films, Citizen Kane, Vertigo, and even Andy Warhol’s “Empire”. Then there’s MoMA’s library, which holds a collection of over 300,000 books, 1,000 periodicals, and 40,00 files and over 10,000 artist books. Overall the Museum of Modern Art holds one of the largest collections in the world and is the perfect place to visit for anyone looking to inspire themselves during these times.
Located at the southeast corner of Central Park, referenced in movies and shows, the Central Park Zoo is among the most famous around the world. Known for its depiction in Madagascar the Central Park Zoo has become very well known around the world. The zoo is a made up of 4 different zoos and 1 aquarium, all of this is managed by the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS). While looking among the zoo’s planning or simply having an aerial view it may seem very basic in its design, however this does not take away from its beauty. Its basic design makes it easy for any visitor to enjoy and the very location of the zoo makes it convenient for anyone who wishes to visit, all of these details have been carefully thought over in order to make the Central Park Zoo a phenomenal place to visit.
The Central Park Zoo was founded in 1864 and became the first public zoo to ever open in New York City. it had been remodeled 2 times in 1934 and 1960, in 1983 the zoo was actually closed down in 1983 for a complete reconstruction and was reopened 5 years later. The Zoo was actually not in the original plans of Central Park, the zoo was actually introduced informally during the 1850’s, starting off with exotic animals people would buy as pets and a bear tied to a tree. The original plans for the zoo actually had it located in Manhattan Square at the west side of Central Park where the American Museum of Natural History is currently located. Eventually it was decided to build the zoo on the southeast corner for many reasons, one of these reasons being its close proximity to Lower Manhattan, this made it popular with the working-class.Interestingly enough the Central Park Zoo had declined due to the city government neglecting the zoo in the 20th century.
The Central Park Zoo had grown in popularity after its representation in the movie Madagascar, the movie had depicted a handful of animals escaping the Central Park Zoo and roaming around NYC causing mass panic, funny enough this is not the first time something like this was depicted. On November 9th in 1874 the New York Herald newspaper published a hoax named “Central Park Zoo Escape”. The primary write, J.I.C. Clarke, had claimed that there was a mass escape from the zoo. going on to say a rhinoceros had impaled people and that a handful of other animals had also escaped and had mauled multiple people. Among those animals, a polar bear, a panther, a Numidian lion, multiple hyenas and a Bengal tiger. the lengthy article that was published had cause people to be horrified and made people panic, though at the end of the article it was made clear that all of it was in fact pure fiction.
The Central Park Zoo is among the many attractions in NYC that provide entertainment for any visitor coming either on their own or with a family. While the zoo itself would already be a brilliant place to visit for anyone, the very fact that it is also located in Central Park makes it all the more grandiose. If there were ever any questions as to whether the Central Park Zoo can hold up when compared to other forms of entertainment one should remind themselves that this zoo is not Just located in Central Park but also in the middle of New York City. Considering that My Destiny Limo provides service To or From NYC, going to the heart of the city is a must for anyone wishing to experience NYC before they “kick the bucket”. So if you want a safe and reliable trip to the heart of NYC, book a reservation on My Destiny Limo today!
Welcome! To the Bronx Zoo, known for its diversity in animal collection and award winning exhibitions. located at 2300 southern Boulevard Bronx Park, the Bronx Zoo is actually a combination of 4 different zoo systems and even one aquarium. This is all managed by the Wildlife Conservation Society and is verified by the Association of Zoo and Aquariums. all of this is accumulates what is known as the entirety of the Bronx Zoo and one of the most entertaining experiences for any visitor.
The Bronx Zoo had opened its doors originally in November 8th 1899 and was home to 843 animals and had 22 exhibits. interestingly enough, in December 17, 1902 The Bronx Zoo was one of the seven zoos in the world to hold the now extinct Thylacine. unfortunately they only lived until September 13, 1919. The Bronx Zoo has been remodeled numerous of times and has been fixed up for even more animals from around the world.
The Bronx Zoo holds 2 types of exhibits, there are free exhibits that are able to be viewed by anyone, and there are premium exhibits which require additional fees. some of the exhibits include the African Plains, Baboon Reserve, Congo Gorilla Forest, Himalayan Highlands, Mitsubishi Riverwalk, and many many more. The Bronx Zoo has also been featured in some popular culture. In 2013 a comic series “Tales of the Night Watchman” titled “The Night Collector” a comic book published by “SO What?”.
the Bronx Zoo may not have the same grandiose effect on visitors that something like the Central Park Zoo may have. However, to say that the Bronx Zoo does not hold its own against any other zoo would be a lie. holding over 22 different exhibits and more than its fair share of animals any visitor can have a great experience with their whole family included. 265 acres of park lands and habitats with the Bronx River going right through the middle, over 3,000 animals and 650 different species. The Bronx Zoo is a fantastic place for anyone to visit and we can take you there today!
covering an area of 586 acres, Prospect Park is one of the biggest in Brooklyn and continues to show how beautiful nature can be even among the urban environment in Brooklyn. Prospect Park is surrounded by 5 different neighborhoods, it’s adjacent to the Brooklyn Museum and even contains its own botanical garden on top of also being right next to the Brooklyn Public Library. Needless to say Prospect Park holds more than its fair share of activities for its visitors to do!
Prospect Park is an urban park that was established between 1867 – 1873 however the park itself was actually proposed 8 years prior in 1859 by Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux. Interestingly enough both Olmsted and Vaux where the same people who also helped design NYC most famous park, Central Park itself. Throughout the next decade and a half the park under went numerous redesigns and refurbishments in order to both modernize the park and clean it up. redesigns included the addition of the Prospect Park Zoo, a picnic house, a concert grove, The Boathouse, and even the Litchfield Villa. The Prospect Park also host constant outdoor Concerts and Parades during the summer. The new modernization of the park also added new facilities such as basketball courts, baseball fields, soccer fields, The Prospect Park Tennis Center, and even an ice skating ring for winter.
Prospect Park has an area of 526 acres in central Brooklyn and consists of waterways, ravines, lakes, and watercourses. The waterways in Prospect Park are actually apart of a singular man made watercourse that leads throughout the park. The watercourse makes use of the preexisting ponds and the lowland out-wash plains in order to make a drainage around the waterway itself. The waterway is also lined with vegetation around the borders that absorb precipitation and help water flow. interestingly enough, two thirds of the lake evaporates annually, however the water is restored throughout the rainy season.
The Prospect Park Lake is artificial and covers about 60 acres of the park itself. The lake itself holds over 20 different species of fish and even several different islands inside the lake. visitors are also allowed to kayak and use pedal boats in the lake and sometimes even fish, however the lake does hold a catch and release policy. Prospect Park also has 146 acres of Ravines and a long meadow that goes down the western side of Prospect Park.
Prospect Park is also filled with landmarks and structures that scattered around the land. The entrance to Prospect Park is one of these major landmarks, two columns outside the entrance of Bartel-Pritchard Square. Grand Army Plaza also contains The Soldiers’ and The Sailors’ Arch, a large arch that is located on an oval in the middle of the park. The park also holds many monuments and statues, such as the Mozart Monument, a bronze statue of Abraham Lincoln, Dongan Oak monument, and many more scattered around the park.
Prospect Park may not be as big or as famous as Central Park but that does not mean that it does not have its own visual spectacles or entertainment opportunities. The natural landscapes in the park combined with the monuments and man made structures make it a sight to see for any visitors who wish to be blown away by the marvelous beauty of the park. Visitors who prefer to take a more active role when it comes to entertainment can attend any one of the parades and concerts held at the park or even bring friends to some of the soccer fields or basketball courts in order to stay on the active side. Overall Prospect Park is a perfect place for any visitor who wants to experience what Brooklyn has to offer, and luckily for you My Destiny Limo can take you there today!
